Ergonis Software today released Typinator 4.2, a maintenance release of their popular text expander. The new version fixes a problem with the recently released Mac OS X 10.6.5 that caused certain abbreviations to fail. It furthermore offers improved compatibility with third-party applications like iTunes 10, 4D, Outlook 2011, and others, fixes a problem where Typinator stopped working when more than 100 sets were installed, and improves overall stability and performance.
